In the mountainous area of the province of Sulaimaniya, Iraqi Kurdistan lies Dabandikhan. This town experienced loss and destruction when the recent 7.3 earthquake hit the nearby region in Iran. They now have a new health director who has asked for help sourcing needed medications. Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation responded with 47 cartons packed with various medications. The value of these medications are approximately $91,000.
This is a new contact for Bring Hope and we expect to continue this collaborative relationship with the new health director for a long time to come. Bring Hope supports health and health related activities throughout the region by supplying items in short supply including almost all types of medications and medical supplies and equipment.
