In our continuing effort to provide on-going assistance to regional and local hospitals in Iraqi Kurdistan we delivered 57 cartons of medications valued at approximately $95,000 to Rwanduz Hospital.
With current economic conditions in Kurdistan, hospitals serving not only local but also the refugee populations require assistance in obtaining medications. These medications have a direct effect on quality of treatment and even whether treatment is an option (in the case of chemotherapy drugs). With support from Baghdad being non-existent, Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation sources and provides logistical support to bring medications to these hospitals as much as possible.
