As vans are loaded in the warehouse of Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation for a delivery to the front lines in Mosul 4 July 2017, David Dawson of Free Kurdistan Rangers (Free Burma Rangers) talks to Bring Hope about the impact of providing supplies such as food, milk, tea, rice, IV infusion equipment, gloves, beds and medicines among other things.
David and the volunteers working with him risk their lives to provide these supplies directly to the people. Free Kurdistan Rangers also works with Victor Marx and ATP (All Things Possible Ministries) as well as Bring Hope because the people fleeing conflict zones can use all the help and as much material support as possible to simply survive.
David says the people who have remained captive in Mosul have been told horrible things about the people outside of ISIS so many don’t know who to trust. But, says David, when you deliver food and supplies right into the hands of the civilians, they understand the love we have for them.
He stated, “There is nothing like giving a child and mother milk.” They come back again wanting to know if there is more for them, because people have resorted to eating raw cats.
Today, 4 July, 2017 the delivery consists of food and supplies necessary for sustaining life.
