Following the tragedy of food poisoning in Khazr U2 Refugee Camp, Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation responded by providing Raparin Pediatric Hospital in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan with Perfalgan 10 mg/ml, solution for infusion to aid their ability to continue giving high quality health services.
While delivering this Perfalgan, the staff at
Raparin Hospital indicated Bring Hope should take the majority of their aid to Erbil Emergency Hospital as they had immediate need for this drug given the influx of patients from Mosul.
Bring Hope visited Erbil Emergency Hospital with a truckload of Perfalgan 10 mg/ml, solution for infusion, an analgesic and antipyretic. This drug treats pain, especially following surgery and helps reduce fever.
When the pharmacist at the hospital was asked how much Perfalgan was needed, he indicated they would use the entire truckload. And so it was that Bring Hope provided the entire truckload of this important medicine to the emergency hospital for which they were very appreciative.
