Women, Children and the Disadvantaged

WAHA Organization (Women and Health Alliance) has branches to serve women, children and the disadvantaged in Mosul, Erbil, Salahuddin, Kayara, Duhok, and Xazer & Debka Refugee Camps with approximately 100 – 120 sick patient cases see per day. They also operate a mobile health clinic in Telesida Refugee Camp. Ahmed, the Field Officer from WAHA, told Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation that the Ministry of Health has a constant shortage of medication which makes providing effective health services extremely difficult.

Ahmed reached out to Bring Hope to help provide medicine and on 25 January 2018, 55 cartons of various medicines were delivered to WAHA. The medicine provided is valued at $101,285. Supporting providers of comprehensive health services, especially those whose primary objective is to ensure healthier communities for women, children and the disadvantaged, is a top priority for Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation. We strive to provide holistic, sustainable, and culturally appropriate solutions to improve the health of disadvantaged communities. To be part of this amazing journey, see bringhope.info.
