The Road Less Traveled

S. Barkley represents the NGO Free Burma Rangers (a/k/a Free Kurdish Rangers) and today he is loading 70 boxes of medications from Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation for use in Sinjar. He tells Bring Hope, “…[some] NGO’s can’t operate do to the political climate…constraints of insurance or security.” He tells us further that Free Burma Rangers are small and flexible so they can and do go where others will not. It is 30 November 2017 and Sinjar has been a volatile area, so his organization will deliver this medication to Sinjar Hospital, enough to treat 20,000 patients.

The cooperation and coordination between Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation and Free Burma Rangers has been on-going and together they have helped thousands of people in areas where “the road is less traveled.” Both organizations operate on-the-ground and resources are locally stored and available to respond to changing circumstances in an immediacy not often found. Today’s delivery is valued at $117,000. To be part of this amazing journey, see bringhope.info.
